Suggested Itinerary: Morning Sailing, weather permitting
Catamaran sailing in the bay and volcano visit; very limited availability in winter months. Pickup & Drop-off from your hotel.

Itinerary TBD: Suggestion: visit Akrotiri site (takes about 2 hours); then tour with taxi inland villages not visited by tourists and then drive to airport.

CRETE
If you want to spend all you time on Crete, you’ll need two hubs, Heraklion & Chania.
Feb. 1 – 6: Crete
Feb. 6 : Return to Athens in the afternoon, overnight stay.
Feb. 7 : Depart for USA.
If you want to also spend some time on the mainland (Meteora or Nafplion) then use only one hub on Crete, the city of Chania.
Feb. 1 – 5 : Crete
Feb. 5 : Return to Athens in the afternoon, overnight stay.
Feb. 6 : Nafplion or Meteora, return to Athens
Feb. 7 : Depart for USA.
That wil be 9 overnight stays in Greece.
Suggested hotel in Heraklion for value/price:
Driving from Heraklion to Chania, Rethymnon is worth stopping over.
It boasts one of the last places where pyllo (filo) dough is made by hand.
